How do I get started with TeemDrop POD?

This guide provides an overview of  TeemDrop’s POD (Print on Demand) services and key workflows, including POD product selection, purchasing, product design, review, and listing. It is designed to help you quickly understand how TeemDrop’s POD services work and provide step-by-step guidance when using these features.

1. POD Workflow Overview

1	Product Selection	Go to POD Products to search or filter products. Confirm the product type, price, SPU/SKU, and 2D/3D tags.
2	Listing Preparation	For 2D products: click List to Store to directly list the basic product, or choose Design Product to create a finished POD product. You can also choose Design Template to create a POD template product. For 3D products: click List to Store to directly list the basic product, or choose Design Product to create a finished POD product. Design Template is not supported for 3D products.
3	Manual Listing	Complete the store, product type, supplier, title, collection, tags, and variant pricing, and check the product images, videos, and description before submitting.
4	Create a Finished POD Product / POD Template Product	Go to Product Editor, upload your artwork, and adjust the position, size, rotation, effects, and borders within the designated design area. Save the design after completing the adjustments.
5	Review & Listing Check	In My Design, select the design and click Apply for Review. Check the review, listing, and visibility status in Review List or Product Management.
6	Enable POD-2D in Shopify	In Shopify Admin, go to the Design Templates page, find the product template, add the POD-2D design feature, and save the settings.
7	List & Purchase My POD Products	POD products created as Templates or Products can be listed using List to Store. Templates support Order Sample, while Products support Order Sample and Pre-order Inventory.

2.  Guide to Listing Basic POD Products Without Design

2.1 Select the POD Product you want to list

• Go to POD > POD Products. You can search byCategory or TD SPU/SKU.
• Product cards show the product image, name, TD SPU, price, and 2D/3D tag.
• Choose the next action based on the product type and the buttons actually available on the product card.

2.2 Complete Product Information in Manual Listing

• After clicking List to Store, the Manual Listing window will open. It contains four tabs: Products, Variant Pricing, Images&Videos, and Description. The listing process is the same as the standard product listing process.

2.3 Submit and Wait for the Listing Result

• After confirming the information in each tab, click List Now.
• The system will display a Listing in progress message, indicating that you can check the listing status under Listing in Progress or Listed. Once the listing is completed, a Listed Successfully message will appear, with an option to Visit it in Store.

Pre-Listing Checklist Before submitting, make sure to check at least the following four items: · Confirm that the Product Type matches the product. · Confirm that the correct Store and Vendor are selected. · Confirm that the price and variants are complete and accurate. · Confirm that the images, videos, and description are suitable for the target store.

3. Guide to Designing and Listing POD Products as Finished Product

3.1 Design and Save the Finished “Product”

3.1.1 Accessing the Product Editor

• Click Design Producton the product card, or access the design process via the My Design section on the left.
• The top of the editor features Cancel and Save; the left side contains the Upload, Text, and Layerstools; the center is the product design canvas; and the right side displays the preview and attributes panel.

3.1.2 Uploading and Aligning the Design Image

• The Uploadbutton on the left supports clicking or dragging to upload images.
• PNG, JPG, and JPEG formats are supported, and file sizes must not exceed 10 MB.
• After uploading, the image will appear on the canvas; the user must drag the design into the product’s dotted-line printable area.

Calibration Steps	Key Steps
Position	Drag the design to the center of the design area, ensuring it does not extend beyond the dotted-line boundaries or obscure key content.
Dimensions	Scale using the corner handles to ensure the main graphic is clear and not cropped.
Rotation	Fine-tune the angle based on the product’s shape; the rotation value is displayed in the “R” field on the right.
Properties	On the right, you can set the Image Type (e.g., Full Color) and add Image Effects or Borders.
Preview	Use the preview on the right to confirm the final product appearance, rather than relying solely on the central editing box.

3.1.3 Save and Name the Design

• After confirming the preview is correct, click Save. The system will prompt you to enter a Design Name.
• Once saved, the design will be listed under POD > My Design, where you can view and manage it.
• It is recommended that the name include the product name, theme, version number, or date to facilitate future review and reuse.

3.2 Submit the Designed Finished Prouct for Review

3.2.1 Submit the Designed Finished Product for Review in My Design Page

• In POD > My Design, locate the design you just saved, check the corresponding row, and click Apply for Review.
• After submission, the page will prompt you to check theReview List for the application result.

3.2.2 Viewing Status in the Review List

• The Review List displays product images, names, SPUs, types, creation dates, and statuses.

Status	Meaning and Actions
Under Review	The design has been submitted for review and is awaiting platform processing. Resubmitting the same design is not recommended at this stage.
Approved	The design has passed the review and can proceed with listing, purchasing, or linking to store products.
Pending Listing	The listing or listing process has not yet been completed. Please continue to monitor the status.
Rejected	The product content does not comply with the requirements and the design has been rejected.

 3.3 List or Purchase Approved Finished POD Products

 3.3.1 Listing

• On the My POD Products page, locate the POD product under the “Product” type, click List to Store, and then proceed to the Manual Listing pop-up window. The pop-up window contains four tabs: "Products" , "Variant Pricing",  "Images & Videos" and "Description". The listing process is the same as for regular products.

 3.3.2 Purchasing

• On the My POD Product page, locate a POD product of the “Product”  type, click Order Sample or Pre-order Inventory. The payment and checkout process is the same as for regular products.

4. Guide to Designing and Listing POD Template Products

4.1 Design and Save the Template

4.1.1 Access the Product Editor

4.2 Submit the Designed Template Product for Review

4.2.1 Submit the Designed Template Product for Review in My Design Page

• In POD > My Design, locate the design you just saved, check the corresponding row, and click Apply for Review.
• After submission, the page will prompt you to check the Review Listfor the application result.

4.2.2 Checking Status in the Review List

• The Review List displays product images, names, SPUs, types, creation dates, and statuses.

4.3 List or Purchase the Approved POD  Template

4.3.1 Listing

• On the My POD Products page, locate a POD product of the "Template" type, click List to Store, and then proceed to the Manual Listing pop-up window.
• The pop-up window contains four tabs: "Products", "Variant Pricing", "Images & Videos" and "Description". The listing process is the same as for regular products.

4.3.2 Purchasing

• On the My POD Products page, locate a “Template” type POD product and click Order Sample to purchase a sample. When purchasing a template product, you must set or select the Personalized Designcontent. The payment and Add to Cart process is the same as for regular products.

5. Enabling the POD-2D Plugin for Listing on Shopify

5.1 In the Shopify admin, go to the “Edit Templates” page.

5.2 Find the product to which you want to add the plugin and click on its details page.

 5.3 On the product details page, add a block, locate “Design 2D”,  add it, and save. If the plugin is not added, POD template products will not be able to display the “Design” content in the POD area.

 5.4 After successful addition, you can drag the design area to a desired location to make it easier for users to design templates.

 5.5 Enable Cart Replacer on the App Embedding page. If this is not enabled, the preview image of the designed POD will not be displayed when POD template products are added to the cart.
